A. Senior/Lead Software Design Engineer - C++ (2 - 4+ years of experience)
The job involves software product development and significant technical content. It involves strong, individual contribution/involvement in analysis, usability, design, implementation, debugging, and effort estimation with risk analysis of each of the product components/phases.

Requirements/Responsibilities :
Technical Skills :
• Good understanding of object oriented design and implementation skills
• Good knowledge of product life cycles and associated issues.
• Proficient in C/C++, data structures and algorithms.
• Good experience on one of the OS like Windows, Mac, Unix/Linux. A definite plus if has Mac development skills.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills (in multiple development environments)
• Desirable to have knowledge of MFC on Windows
• Desirable to have knowledge of XML/HTML, SOAP/HTTP, C++ libs, Open Source libraries, Databases etc.
• Desirable to have experience transition between different platforms (eg. Windows and Macintosh)
• Desirable to have knowledge of Objective-C
Nice to Have Skills :
• A plus if has experience using frameworks such as MFC, WxWidgets, PowerPlant, Cocoa, and Carbon
• A plus if has experience creating plug-ins for the Adobe Creative Suite, Quark Xpress/CopyDesk
• A plus if has driver writing experience for storage, video, audio, USB, FireWire, Bluetooth, etc.
Soft/Other Skills :
• Proven ability to work with a team to deliver high quality software in a fast paced, dynamic, deadline oriented
environment
• Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Must enjoy working on totally different projects as frequently as every 3-6 months
• For senior position, should have a proven history of accurate estimating
• Desirable to have already mentored/led 1-3 junior developers.
Experience : 2 – 4 + yrs of relevant experience
Qualification : MCA/BTech/BE/Diploma (Computer Science) from an excellent Institute/University.
